Rami partners with foundations, nonprofits, and public agencies to explore their work and its impact in the communities they serve. Rami approaches these partnerships with humility, curiosity, and an emphasis on collective sensemaking. He brings a strengths- and trust-based approach to projects, meeting stakeholders where they are and centering their learning goals.

Rami has a background in nonprofit program management and over 10 years of research and evaluation experience. Prior to joining Engage R+D, Rami served as an Evaluation and Learning Officer at Sierra Health Foundation, working closely with partners and community members to understand and address racial and health inequities across California. He also brings extensive experience in research and evaluation consulting, leading projects in capacity building, youth development, health equity, inclusive economic development, early education, and other areas. Earlier in his career, Rami managed programming for refugees, asylees, and other recently resettled immigrants at a community-based organization in Columbus, Ohio.

At Engage R+D, Rami draws on a toolkit of culturally responsive mixed methods, tailoring each engagement to its unique context and needs. Having worn many hats in the social sector, he is adept at translating findings across audiences and facilitating accessible and relatable learning experiences. Rami is fluent in Arabic.
